Hoodia Tea

While there are no specific products being sold as Hoodia Tincture it is also a word that is linked to drops, medicine, tablet, tonic and many other similar words. This means that many companies can use the term Hoodia Tincture when talking about their products. This article will consider two specific Hoodia tea products and what exactly they contain. However, if you are interested in other forms of Hoodia such as liquids, drops, capsules, herb blends and even coffee then you can find a host of information on the internet that will help you select these products as well. However, the one thing you won't be able to find is a prescription form of Hoodia since no exists yet even though Phytopharm is currently working on a prescription form.

The term Hoodia Tincture is typically used by those who manufacture Hoodia Tea to describe their products. The two most common forms of Hoodia Tea you will find include Desert Tea and Bija Hoodia Tea. Desert Tea will cost you about forty dollars for every twenty tea bags plus the shipping and handling cost. For the Bija Hoodia Tea the cost will vary depending on the distributor you are purchasing it through, but the average price is about thirteen dollars for every twenty tea bags. However, before you make a purchase based on price it is important that you consider the ingredients in each product.

Desert Tea has one full gram of the Hoodia Gordonii plant in each tea bag and also contains Rooibos for flavor which is an African shrub that is commonly used to make herbal tea. For Bija Hoodia Tea there is no specified amount of Hoodia Gordonii plant in each tea bag, but it also contains green tea, magnolia bark, oatstraw herb, garcinia cambogia, bitter orange and grapefruit.

By reading a number of testimonials, reviews and customer comments you know that the more Hoodia Gordonii plant present in a product the better your weight loss results. This same principle also applies to Hoodia tea. When it comes to green tea it has caffeine which acts as a stimulant. So if you are sensitive to stimulants you should avoid a product that contains green tea.

For Bija Hoodia Tea the bitter orange and grapefruit are added for flavor and also for their anti-oxidant value. Garcinia cambogia is a part of traditional Indian medicine to help with swelling, constipation and many other medical complaints. The effectiveness of garcinia cambogia as a weight loss product has not been studied or proven. Magnolia bark and oatstraw are two ingredients typically found in herbal teas. With so many different ingredients in Bija Hoodia Tea they may not be much of the actual Hoodia Gordonii plant in the tea. Therefore, you can expect to get better results from a Hoodia tea that contains closer to one hundred percent Hoodia Gordonii plant.

As with other Hoodia products it is important to check for CITES certification before purchasing a product. This can assure you of the results and satisfaction. This certification can verify the presence of genuine Hoodia Gordonii plant in your tea.
